Dear Members,
See 2023 training schedule attached for Tuesday & Thursday at Alan Davidson Park. Note we donot have Lisarow High on a Wednesday at this stage.
Please note less than 4 weeks ago a sand groove drainage project & rye grassing of all fields was completed at a cost to the club of $8,800.
We hope this will improve the quality of the pitch & have less days affected by wet weather.
Its is important we look after the fields, particularly over the next month whilst they continue to repair.
We ask all teams to:
- Limit use of the 6 yard boxes / goal areas
- Avoid any repetitive / tight turning drills like shuttles - Try and do these behind the goals on the northern & southern end of field 2 & southern end of field 3 when space permits.
- Only use the training space allocated to you & be respectful of other coaches & their teams
- Escalate any issues to the Football Committee as required
No training is to occur on FIELD 1 without the permission of the President Jarrod Mobberley. There will be no games held on this surface until Round 2 - 15/16 April. This field has been slower to recover and will benefit from the extra time. We will re-assess after round 2.
