Our annnual "Old Boys & Girls" charity weekend is again upon us this Sat 25/26 August. Last year WFC launched an annual charity initiative with our community club doing our part to give to those in need.

This year we will be donating all proceeds to Buy a Bale of Hay - Making a difference to Australian Farming Families  - We recongnise the struggle of Australia's Farmers and would like to play our part in assisting this industry which is so important to our country.

Donations can be made via the canteen, bar or via those members collecting funds on the weekend. Last year we raised over $2000 for Jog4Joey & the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Please give generously this year

11.45am - 35ES vs Woy Woy

12 Noon - 35EN vs Killarney on Field 2, led by the passionate Luca Scuri, Andrew Kennedy, Nigel Mead & Aaron Quill

1.30pm - 35DN Vs Berkeley Vale. Kenny Melvin's lads looking to secure a finals berth.

3.10pm - 35As Vs Terrigal led by hall of famers Ryan Marshall, Marcus Steele, Daniel Surridge, Paul Jones & Trevor Shute. Will the Snork have to make another cameo? A win sees them scrape into the finals in what has been an injury plagued and difficult year.

This is also a special weekend for us in celebrating the life of Wyoming's finest ever "gaffer", John McLafferty. John is still sorely missed and affected many of us so greatly during our time with him. #2004 #nevergiveup

A full licensed bar is in operation on the day along with canteen & BBQ - NO BYO alcohol permitted as the club will be donating proceeds to the charity. Please assist us here and purchase from the bar. Sure to be one of the biggest days of the year and plenty of laughs with the old boys trying to show they can still play a bit! Come down from midday and enjoy the afternoon!

9am - WAA5 vs Berkeley - Looking to jag their first win! Go ladies!

10.40am - WAA1 Vs Berkeley - Congratulations to the 1's for finishing the regular season in second place and securing a major semi final weekend. A huge achievement !

Finally a shout out to our Div 1 men who are taking on Wyong at Baker Park on Sunday. Our Reserve Grade Lads have secured a semi final berth and can finish as high as second, along with our First grade boys whom with a win and Ourimbah drawing with or defeating Woy Woy will see us promoted back into the BPL ! A fine effort from a one of our youngest ever squads.

A huge weekend for the club - ALL WELCOME! Please like and share!
