ROUND #2 [DELAYED] (JULY 22, 2020)
vs EAST GOSFORD

A solid win from our first grade boys last night vs a very determined, young and energetic Ram HQ/ Home of the East Gosford Rams side. These games are always tight results! Goal went to Benny Fazz. Special mention goes out to 16 year old Toby Flanagan for making his 1st Grade debut. Out there tonight we had a 16 year old, a 17 year old and two 18 year olds who have all progressed through our ABC Junior Football program. The future is bright.

ROUND #3 (JULY 19, 2020)
vs BERKELEY VALE

Wyoming travelled to Mingara Oval to take home a narrow win against Berkeley Vale FC on their home territory. It was a mostly balanced and tough battle for both teams who were well-spaced and at the ready. The first half of the match saw Wyoming dominate on a few noticeable occasions with a better and more accurate nature of play, quickly earning them a penalty which turned into a beautiful goal by captain, Matt Hall.

The second half saw Berkeley Vale attempt to take back command of the game and present as a stronger and more persistent side - appearing as though to win the half - while Wyoming were able to maintain sturdy defence and deny attacks from their opposition. Two outstanding saves from Wyoming goalkeeper, Thomas Coventry, safeguarded the team from letting go of their concession-free win in the final minutes of the match.

ROUND #1 (JULY 5, 2020)
vs THE ENTRANCE

Both the Entrance and Wyoming played a mostly even match as is shown in the 2-all draw. However, there was a clear dominance on The Entrance half within the first 30 minutes of the game that saw a strong header from Adam Blunden off the cuff of a corner secure the first goal of the match. The Entrance put consistent pressure on Wyoming to be met by strong defence and mighty goalkeeping efforts. Wyoming took to the game more competitively after Ian McAndrew remained on the ball to help regain control and create opportunities with the help of a string of free kicks and corners.

Coming back as the winning side after the first half, The Entrance were able to sneak in another goal with a controlled strike from Josh Swadling for an impressive finish. Following a few misses from the Entrance, Wyoming were starting to apply more pressure that helped them their own Sam Dooley score after a free kick in the latter end of the second half. Their attempt at equalising came to fruition as Wyoming’s Ben Farrell carved in another goal from a corner with just 10 minutes of the match to go while The Entrance failed to clear the ball.
