ROUND #2 (APRIL 13, 2019)
vs KARIONG
LOST 2-4
Game today, is unfortunate to be a loss however the lil tigers played well. 2 Goals for centre forward Jayden “Jay” Miotello with some great break through play supporting striker for the game Hayden “Haydoss” Drew.
Some highlights included a stellar header from Molly in defence O’Leary changing the game play, break outs wide on the wing with Bree “Breeza” Humphries and Taylah Cottle which we were unable to capitalise on but great to see when these breaks happen.
It was unfortunate today that we had 2 injured with Laila “Freight train” Ainsley suffering a wrist injury and Gorgia Komemi straining an ankle. Hopefully nothing too serious and both will bounce back into action soon.
Game gave us some opportunities to work on in the midfield and out wide so will be a focus in upcoming training.
Although not one of best performances these games keep things real and will help improve us moving forward well done tigers.

ROUND #1 (APRIL 6, 2019)
vs SOUTHERN ETTALONG
WON 9-4
Not a bad way to kick off the season high scoring game, with a 7-2 lead at half time. Some standouts were Hayden “Haydoss” Drew, scoring a sensational 5 goals, With one each for, Leila “Freight Train” Ainslee, Jayden “Jay” Miotello, Bree “Breeza”Humphries, and also “Fancy Pants” Lance Kmet who also pulled off 2 great assists.
As returning champs from last year they definitely stomped their little paws as they pounced out of the seasons gates showing they have retained their team work, and will to make their “Cartwheeling Coach” cartwheel the sideline when they score.
With passing to gaps and hunting down the ball, shutting down the opposing team attacks, possession was the key to their first game. Whilst the frontline was cutting through, the back line and mids right out to the wings played with authority, Shutting down the ball at every opportunity then running it back down the field.
The whole team were committed and eager to be part of the action, with the dawn of the new season upon us I know these tigers will proudly take the field each game wearing their new look gear, showing off their stripes and occasionally their teeth to each club they take on.
Surrounded by parents and onlookers we are all very excited to watch these kids every single week strut their stuff and do their best. Bring on round 2!!
