CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS: ROUND OF 16
VS LINDFIELD (LOST 1-4)
September 24, 2017

Great effort by the 35As in their Champion of Champions game vs Linfield at Charles Bean Sports Oval today.

6 players out and 30+ degree heat, with 12 players only available (some carrying injuries) including some lower graders.

Despite being 2-1 at half time and playing some good football on their first outing on a synthetic pitch, the lads ran out of puff but were gallant in defeat, unlucky not to have a few more. Great experience that left the fellas in no-doubt that full strength, they have enough to be a force in this competition if to get another crack in coming years.

Final Result Linfield 4, Wyoming 1.

Great season by this team finishing League Champions and GF Runners Up.

Congratulations to our M35A team on winning the club's first silverware for the season by taking out the league championship with two rounds to spare. They become our first senior team to win a place in the FNSW Champion of Championship since 2014. In their only previous appearance, in 2007, they became the first, and still the only, Central Coast club to win the All-Age competition.

GAME #3
VS BERKELEY VALE (WON 3-0)
April 29, 2017

Sat 29/4, saw our first home game of the season, played in front of a great crowd on an immaculate Alan Davidson pitch.

Fast ball movement was spoken about pre-game and the lads executed it perfectly with some sublime one touch passing giving some of the older wombats side, very little possession. A very lopsided possession count, didn't reflect on the final score board with a few wasted chances. The score could have easily ended up 6 or 7 nil but we will take the 3 nil win and move on.

A great team, performance from back to front today. A brace to Galey, including an absolute bomb and another nice poach from 'new signing' Falzo.

Alot of expectation is on this team for 2017, but it is truly a pleasure to be a part of, with so many quality players and a high level of camaraderie.
