Berkeley continued to score some long range goals before we got settled and everyone stsarted playing their positions. Callum and Alfie were strong in defence. Eli was good dribbling down the sideline while Liam put pressure on the opposition. Max was again good in the middle of the park and Zek played really well up front. In the end we showed some strong determination to win by one goal. Well done! Final score 5-4.

vs KANWAL
May 6, 2017
Again the kids turned up ready to play and it wasn't long before we had a couple of goals. It was even more impressive the amount of pressure the boys applied to the opposition when they had the ball.
Max and Eli held their positions well creating space. Alfie and Liam and Ezekiel continue to tackle and pass the ball around while Callum was involved in everything.
Well done guys.
Today Callum won the trophy for having the best game we have seen him play and Alfie won the award for playing really well and showing improvement.

GAME #4
vs BUDGEWOI 1 (DREW 5-5)
April 29, 2017
After last week we put a little bit of effort into the game preparation and it worked a treat. Although it was a strong Budgewoi team our guys stuck together and didn't back down. There was some great runs from Ezekiel and Eli. Some nice finishing from Max (3 goals) and first goals of the year to Liam & Daniel. Alfie and Callum both put in huge efforts and it was great to see the boys encouraging each other and playing as a team. Well done guys, you should be proud of your efforts.
Today Daniel won the award after scoring his first goal for the year and great teamwork and Liam won the certificate for his goal and shutting down the opposition.

GAME #3
vs KILLARNEY DISTRICT 1
April 22, 2017
Today we started off a little slow and found Killarney putting some passes together and scoring some goals. it didn't take long for our guys to start making some tackles through Eli and Alfie and shortly after Max had scored a couple of nice goals himself. There was great support from Callum, Liam and Ezekeil who slowed down the Killarney attack. After a good half time talk the boys really started playing as a team which was great to watch. With Daniel back next week we will look forward to next week's game.
Well done guys!
Today Alfie won the trophy for great tackles and didn't stop trying his best. Eli won the award for great defending and always trying to improve.
