GAME #5
VS TERRIGAL 2 (WON 8-4)
May 6, 2017
Todays game was much better from start to finish this week, with the boys defeating Terrigal 2’s 8-4!
Ayden started todays game off with a quick goal in the first minute, setting up a positive atmosphere for the team. That was the start of the amazing team work and effort these boys put in today to take out the win and remain undefeated still for this season! With Terrigal only having 3 players at the start of the first half, this was very fun trying to rotate the 7 players we had on our team. Finally after about 10 mins, the rest of Terrigals team arrived and we got straight into a very tough and interesting game.
Riley & Lyndon were very impressive today scoring 3 goals each, and the amazing ball skills that Lyndon is continuing to develop each week amazes us, which is why he was awarded player of the week. Congratulations Lyndon very well deserved. Taj also played very well scoring a goal as well. Toby, Cooper and Diesel also played amazing today and it was great to see the boys passing and calling each other for the ball. We are so impressed and proud of these boys for continuing to get out on that field every weekend and work as a team to win the game.
Last year we attended the Gala day after winning 13 games straight. The boys got absolutely smashed and this is when we realised that they weren’t working as a team and were more focused on scoring, rather than passing and setting up goals. So this year we have registered to participate again hoping that we will have a better outcome 😊
Keep up the good work boys you do us proud every week!!

GAME #4
VS UMINA (WON 16-3)
April 29, 2017
Todays game started off a little slow with the boys not really working as a team until the second half of the game. Umina scored 2 goals to our 1 in the first half which made the boys a little unmotivated.
When the whistle went for half time, Coach Chris and the boys gathered in a circle and Chris shared some words of wisdom and changed our game plan which encouraged the boys to work together as a team along with the help of our cheering squad on the sideline that we have every game 😊
In the second half of the game the boys came out on fire playing like the team we know they are and scored 15 goals in 15 minutes winning them the game!!
Every single player in our team scored multiple goals today and we are so proud of them for working together and coming back taking the win, remaining undefeated so far this season. (3-0)
Diesel Nelson, Toby and Ayden all scored their first goals for the season today but not only one goal but 2 or more each!! Our other players Lyndon, Riley, Taj and Diesel Carter also put all their effort into the game in the second half and 3 of them scored multiple goals as well. Diesel Carter who also is a very shy player surprised us and put his heart into the game and almost scored his first goal!
Each week these boys prove they belong on that field. Ourselves and all the parents are so proud of them.
GOOD WORK BOYS KEEP IT UP 😊

GAME #3
VS AVOCA (WON 3-2)
April 22, 2017
Today kicked off on a high! The boys were so keen to get on the field and play! They played against Avoca who put up a very tough fight but our boys came out on top scoring a third goal to take out the game and win.
First of all congratulations to Cooper Jones who was awarded player of the week for his amazing turn around. Cooper was once a very shy player but he has really put his whole heart into the games and training lately and we are so proud of him for almost scoring 3 goals today! Great work to all the boys for the massive improvement in their ball skills and passing to each other to set up goals.
Great work to Lyndon Miletic who scored all 3 goals for our team today! A very lucky hat-trick ?
Avoca came out strong scoring the first goal in under a minute into the game. That was when the boys realised they were going to be a tough team to play so they pulled together and scored a goal right after.
The game was at a 2 all draw at half time. In the second half the boys pushed through even though they were exhausted, to score the third goal for the win.
This game was very intense and had all the parents on their feet cheering and encouraging both teams from start to finish. We definitely were the loudest cheering squad there with parents from other games that had finished playing, come over to watch our battle.
Every week these boys prove that they deserve to be on the field and we are so proud of them.
With each team improving as the season goes on, we are looking forward to a rematch.

GAME #2
VS KINCUMBER 3 (WON 9-5)
April 8, 2017
Second game of the season so far but first official game due to weather over the last few weeks. First up we would like to welcome our newest players to the team, Diesel Nelson and Toby Way.
The boys came out on top today with an impressive win over Kincumber (9-5). Well done to the boys for playing hard and winning their first game of the season. An impressive effort by Kincumber who were a player short, so we could only have 4 players a side, with 8 players in our team this was very fun trying to sub out 4 players at a time.
Riley had yet another dominant game scoring 7 out of the 9 goals for Wyoming. From his first season to his second he has learnt more and more and has learnt the concept of passing and having his team mates as support in an unofficial Captain Role.
Great start for Lyndon Miletic who scored a goal but also showed amazing control with the ball and setting up team mates showing more of a knowledge for the game then he did in the first season, also to Taj Robertson who scored the last of the goals today also showing great improvement since the first season
Awesome job to Diesel Carter who is a very shy player on the team but still willing to have ago with the ongoing encouragement from Chris (coach) and Jackson (manager) as well as the other attending parents, and his team mates.
Awesome job to Ayden Wynen who’s enthusiastic and protective nature pull the boys together keeping them focused through his supportive shouting and excitement focusing more on the team being successful appose to scoring on his own.
Notes to both Diesel Nelson and Toby Way who are playing there first season of football this year and both showed skill that will grow with the training provided from the club and the guidance and support from the team coach also with Diesel Nelson winning player of the match for his efforts both boys are enthusiastic and excited for the season
An amazing effort today by Cooper Jones who has really surprised us all and has burst out of his shell and really got into the game today and was constantly trying to get the ball and defend as well. His confidence today was awesome and we cant wait to see more from him.
Congratulations to Diesel Nelson who got player of the week after his first ever game.
Over all today the boys as a collective unit have had a great start to the season proving that hard work and determination pays off. Last season was amazing and we are happy to continue our coach and manager roles to learn and grow this season as a whole collective team.
